Based in West Branch, Iowa, Acciona seeks a Human Capital Manager. Reporting to the Corporate Director, Human Capital in Chicago, IL with a dotted line reporting relationship to the West Branch
Plant Manager, the Human Capital Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources at Acciona’s wind turbine manufacturing plant. The Human Capital Manager will
participate in the development, management and administration of staffing, benefits, employee relations, payroll, HRIS, compensation, and training initiatives.
Responsibilities:

- Lead staffing process for manufacturing plant, including recruitment, interviewing, orientation, and terminations of employment

- Serve as the functional expert in matters of employment and labor law and ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws

- Provide coaching and direction to management regarding employee relations and performance challenges

- Assist with employee documentation and delivery (e.g. corrective action, performance evaluations, employment terminations)

- Assist Plant Manager and Safety Manager to ensure effective implementation of safety programs and compliance with OSHA regulations

- Be a leader in fostering company philosophy of safety as a key value, and promoting all employee participation in a safe and healthy work environment

- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of incident reports in accordance with all applicable laws

- Payroll administration

- Monitor market conditions and internal equity, and make subsequent salary recommendations to management and Corporate Human Capital

- Work with plant management and corporate Human Capital to create and update job descriptions

- Work with Corporate Human Capital to build and maintain Human Resources Information Services database (HRIS)

- Create, maintain and update processes related to the HRIS and ensure data integrity at all times

- Ensure timely creation and delivery of general workforce reporting requirements, including HC statistics for staffing, attrition, employee relations, exit information and other customized
workforce analyses

- Conduct research regarding human resources best practices and trends

- Assist in creating new employee orientation program and deliver orientation as needed

- Communicate benefit information and facilitate Open Enrollment meetings
